The garden season runs from April 14 until the first killer frost in November.
Early in the growing season we focus on getting crops started. Later in the season is typically the most work intensive, as that is peak harvest time.
This season, we plan to start work between May 1 & May 15. By that time the soil should be tilled & turned over. You are free to work in the garden as your schedule permits. Daytime and evening hours are encouraged during the warm weather. Typically, there are Saturday morning group meets at the garden, but until further notice this will be replaced with written communications prior to Saturday and periodically during the week. We are seeking donations of ideas, time, and supplies from every level of gardener (novice to expert.) Everyone is welcome to harvest foodstuffs for their own personal use, family use or to help supply the Living Hope Food Pantry. Even though this the garden is outside, social distancing and masks are required at all times for everyone’s protection.
