What is the Living Nativity?
The Living Nativity is a dramatic, 50 minute, outdoor
walk-through presentation of the birth of Christ. The intent is for the story to come alive, so “That you may believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:31.
Starting in the courtyard of Caesar Augustus, you will travel through Bethlehem and ultimately to the manger. Actors energetically portray the Bible account through the journey. The visiting guests will find themselves part of the story. The Christ who will forever define Christmas is still changing lives today.
What Should I Expect?
The Living Nativity is a unique experience designed to engage all five senses. You will be ushered into loud and bustling Bethlehem where you’ll hear lively music, smell wood burning from the blacksmith, taste the fresh produce of the land, touch the merchants' wares, and be face-to-face with the very interactive village vendors.
Dress warmly since you will be guided along lit paths outside as the story progresses, enveloping you in scenes of shepherds and sheep, angels, Wisemen and camels. The show ends at the manger. As the evening concludes, you are invited inside for homemade cookies and hot chocolate.
